ETHParis 2019 — Quorum Bounties

Bonjour la communauté! Quorum has bounties for ETHParis.

We had a great time at ETHDenver and are bringing the same energy to Paris. The Quorum team is on a mission to connect with developers building privacy, performance, and public/private integrations on Quorum’s permissioned Go Ethereum.

The Bounties

Three prizes, $1,000 each:

Privacy — Best use of Quorum’s privacy features

High Performance — Best use of Quorum’s fast transaction throughput

Public/Private Chain — Best use of tools and protocols from public Ethereum on Quorum (MetaMask, Truffle, 0x, Dharma Protocol, etc.)

Build Ideas

A few directions to consider:

• Extend MetaMask to support Quorum private transaction signing through a hardware wallet (Trezor, Ledger)
• Build a bridge between Quorum and public Ethereum, allowing asset transfer or cross-chain references
• Build a governance DApp for adding/removing parties from a Quorum network

What Was Built at ETHDenver

Tidbits — A web3 game with no extensions, no modals. Users assemble poems from word magnets. The contract manages gas for users automatically — they never touch ETH directly.

RToken — A permissioned security token standard for globally compliant ERC20 issuance, leveraging Quorum for investor privacy and institutional-grade compliance.

GeoHunter — A treasure hunt DApp where QR codes must be scanned in order. Each QR code has an associated IPFS image showing its location, with all user and tag data stored on-chain.
