Currently Founding Team at Quirq (quirq.ai), building one-click agentic workforce environments. Bring your own harness, model, and infra — quirq containerizes it, deploys in 60 seconds, and runs it 24/7. Agents like OpenClaw and Hermes run isolated on Kubernetes, routing to any model (Gemini, Claude, Codex, OpenRouter), any Terraform-compatible compute or cloud, with Cursor, VS Code, Vercel, and MagicPath integrations.
Our Unit of Work infra shows what AI spending actually produces — per-agent, per-task visibility into token, compute, and infra spend, and where the AI is moving data and being served.
He is also Managing Partner of EVM Systems, a venture studio building infra for the billion agent economy — AI for capability (models, compute, context), Web3 for citizenship (identity, reputation, governance, payment rails).
He co-founded Gaia, a decentralized open-source AI inference network that grew to 710k+ nodes, 30+ trillion inferences, and 110+ strategic integrations with partners including Coinbase, EigenLayer, ENS, MetaMask, BitGo and Moonpay. He led the project from concept through a $20M raise, token launch, the Gaia AI Phone on Samsung Galaxy S25, and the formation of the Gaia Foundation to sustain the OSS project.
At Consensys, Matt held multiple leadership roles — Director of Developer Relations, Head of DAOs (Tokenomics), and Director, Fellowship Accelerator. He shaped innovation GTM for 400k+ developers across products like MetaMask, Linea and Infura.
At J.P. Morgan, Matt bootstrapped a developer community around Quorum, the open-source enterprise Ethereum platform. He built a 50+ member global Ambassador program across 25+ countries and drove growth toward Quorum's acquisition by Consensys ('20).
At AngelHack, as Director of Community Development, he grew the global developer base from 50k to 200k members across 75+ countries. His team organized 700+ hackathons for Fortune 500 companies including Mastercard, Motorola, ABInBev, RBC, Barclays, US Gov, UBS, and more.
He co-founded DAO NYC, and has organized some of the most memorable events in crypto — including Korea Blockchain Week Official Afterparty with Chris Lake, Metahills in Beverly Hills with TOKiMONSTA + Ayybo, Gn at NFT NYC w/ Claude VonStroke (featured in TIME), and Gaia Launch Party at Token2049 w/ Diplo.
